Former Leeds United star could make a sensational return after EPL relegation.

Burnley defender Charlie Taylor could be set to swap his red shirt for blue again after he was linked with a move away from Turf Moor earlier this summer.

After growing up in the Leeds Academy, Taylor made 104 appearances for the club before moving to Fleetwood Town where he spent two seasons.

Since joining the club in 2011, Ashley Young has been an important member of Manchester United’s squad. He was named PFA Player of the Year in 2014 and won two Premier League titles, three FA Cups, and four Community Shields during his time at Old Trafford.

With relegation becoming a reality at St James’ Park, Taylor could leave the club as they look to make a return to League One – but it might not be for pastures fresh, with the Sun reporting that he could be set for a move back to his former club.

Leeds United bought Junior Firpo from Barca last season, but he didn’t really impress and now has picked up an injury, which makes him one of the key players for them.

It has been reported that Leeds retains an interest in the Thorp Arch graduate. With Burnley needing to recuperate funds after dropping down a league, a deal could be done before the window shuts in just two and a half weeks’ time.

Manchester United want to sign Casemiro from Real Madrid as part of their plans for next season.
